Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alexandrew Song (ranked 3272 p4p, 3016 weight class) and Howard Zynne (ranked 419 p4p, 391 weight class). Song comes into the arena with The Smiths-How Soon Is Now? blaring out of the sound system. Zynne is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Knockout. Howard Zynne is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Howard Zynne!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Reed Andrews and Columbo Gatti.

Zynne keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Song.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Zynne, as that shot connected.

It looks like Alexandrew Song has been cut.
Song misses with a hook.
Zynne slips under a jab from Song.
Zynne throws a jab but it's blocked by Song.
Song looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Song fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Zynne walks into a stiff left hand from Song.
Song keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Zynne.
Zynne uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Song.
And Zynne responds with a good body kick, but Song manages to step out the way in time.
Zynne scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Zynne lands a big right hand that sends Song crashing to the mat! Zynne stays standing though and waves Song back to his feet!

Song is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Song throws a hook but Zynne avoids it easily.
Oh Song is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Song pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Song shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

and Zynne counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Song thinking.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alexandrew Song. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Zynne fakes the body blow, causing Song to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Song goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

In his post fight interview, Howard Zynne started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
