Farley comes to the cage accompanied by Highway to Hell - ACDC. Marcelo DeAngelis has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Keith Farley's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Keith Farley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Marcelo DeAngelis! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Daniel Franklin and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! DeAngelis tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Farley dives in for a single leg takedown but DeAngelis sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Keith Farley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Farley shoots for a double leg takedown but DeAngelis sprawls well. He's pushed Farley's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. DeAngelis throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Farley's head. We've been hearing reports that Farley has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Farley fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but DeAngelis avoids it really well and circles away. DeAngelis throws out a counter right but Farley avoids it with no problem. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Keith Farley. That's going to take a lot out of him. Farley defending well as DeAngelis loads up on a big left hand. DeAngelis throws a series of punches but Farley moves out of range. Farley shoots in looking for a takedown but DeAngelis manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Farley's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. DeAngelis swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Farley with a lazy takedown attempt and DeAngelis counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Farley shoots in and drives through. DeAngelis sprawls well. Farley fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but DeAngelis avoids it really well and circles away. Farley shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. DeAngelis working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Farley doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Farley manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Farley passes easily into side control. Nice work. Farley looks up at the clock and then as DeAngelis takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Farley smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Farley landing a few strikes. Farley is working DeAngelis over with some ground and pound from side control. Farley moves into full mount! Farley raining down shots from the mount!
It looks like Marcelo DeAngelis has been cut. Farley will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. DeAngelis is trying to escape the mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Farley is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and DeAngelis goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Farley!
