Thompson rushes Kamara and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Thompson has hold of one of Kamara's legs. Kamara is fighting the takedown attempt but Thompson gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Kamara is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Kamara bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Thompson's guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

It looks like Scott Thompson has been cut.

Thompson tries to close the distance and clinch but Kamara swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Thompson moves to clinch but Kamara breaks away
and Kamara counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Thompson pushes Kamara up against the cage in a clinch.
Thompson has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Kamara is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Thompson is working for takedown but Kamara is calmly controlling the position for now.

Koua Kamara has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Scott Thompson.
Thompson drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Kamara gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Kamara breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Thompson takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Kamara bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Thompson's head backwards.

Thompson drives through and clinches with Kamara against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Koua Kamara will probably get the nod.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Thompson has Kamara pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Kamara manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

and Kamara counters with a nice right hand that sends Thompson toppling to the canvas! Thompson scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Kamara finish him?!

The fight stays on the outside here - Thompson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Kamara counters with a crisp right hand that drops Thompson! Kamara lets Thompson back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
It looks like Kamara has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Kamara steps in with a hook that catches Thompson right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Kamara follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Thompson looks absolutely devastated.
