Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

Kelly swings for the body but Rowards moves out of range.
A little feinted left hand from Rowards on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Kelly circles away from the clinch attempt
and Kelly connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Kelly fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Rowards scores with a takedown into Kelly's guard.
Rowards controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Rowards content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kelly can do anything to dispel that myth.

Kelly is working an open guard so Rowards takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rowards is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Kelly's half guard.

Kelly is striking from the bottom but he's now found himself mounted! Oh dear - not enough focus on defense there.

Rowards stands up from mount. Strange move.

Rowards closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kelly did well to prevent Rowards getting side control.

Rowards has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Kelly is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Rowards has latched onto it... Big trouble! Rowards pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Kelly is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Rowards!
