Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Lara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raymond Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lara comes to the cage accompanied by 'I Stand Alone' by Godsmack. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alexander Lara! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Raymond Harris! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lara closes the distance and clinches up with Harris, looking for a takedown. Lara pushes Harris against the cage but Harris circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Harris tries to clinch but Lara is having none of it. Harris tries to clinch there but Lara circles away.
Harris clinches with his opponent.
Harris landing knees to the body.
Lara has had enough of the clinch but Harris keeps him there for the moment. Harris throws a knee to the head but misses.
Harris connects with a knee to the head.
Harris throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Lara blocks it with crossed arms. Harris fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Lara can't get the takedown.
Harris looking to slow down the pace here. Harris misses with a body punch.
Lara is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Harris scores with a knee to the head.
Lara is rocked! A head punch blocked on the inside by Harris. Oh Lara is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Harris misses with a knee strike.

Harris changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Lara fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Lara bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lara is breathing heavily. Both fighters take a look at the clock. Lara seems to have got his legs back now. Lara sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Harris is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lara throwing shots but missing, from side control. Harris wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Lara wants to lay and pray for a moment but Harris keeps working. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Harris can do anything to dispel that myth. Lara taking a breather here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Lara misses with a low kick as Harris jumps back. Harris forces Lara back against the cage and clinches. Harris pulls guard successfully.
Harris wants to stand up but Lara is controlling him. Harris trying to control the position.
Lara gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Lara fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Harris fails in his attempt to clinch. Lara shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Lara trying to control the position from guard on top but Harris is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lara wants to stand and escape but instead Harris has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Harris gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Harris clinches with his opponent.
Harris crunches a lovely knee into Lara's ribcage. Harris connects with a nasty looking knee right to Lara's face.

Lara misses with a punch on the inside.
Lara has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Harris is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alexander Lara. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lara looking for a takedown. Harris is stalling here.

Harris has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Lara - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Harris, and another! Lara is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!
