Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Balink Tarlah (ranked 754 p4p, 20356 weight class) and Perdue Willshire (ranked 105 p4p, 481 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Balink Tarlah!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 24 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Perdue Willshire!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Nard Betker and Paulsen Ambrosius.

Willshire tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Tarlah counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Tarlah.
Tarlah stopping the sweep attempt from Willshire.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tarlah decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Willshire, up you get!

Willshire shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tarlah pinned against the cage. Tarlah gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Tarlah fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Willshire, pushing him back against the cage.

Tarlah breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Tarlah scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Willshire scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Tarlah manages to mount him!
Willshire is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Tarlah controlling from mount.

Willshire keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Willshire wants to try and get back to his feet.
Willshire sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Tarlah keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Tarlah lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Willshire pushes Tarlah off looking to stand but Tarlah dives back in and keeps control.

Tarlah takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Tarlah moves nicely into side control.
Willshire trying to remain calm as Tarlah controls from the top position.
Willshire takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Willshire is looking to get back to his feet here but Tarlah is keeping cool and he's managed to take Willshire's back.
Willshire is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Tarlah.
I really don't envy Willshire right now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Tarlah is not going to allow Willshire to sit and survive in this position.
Willshire takes a big shot to the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Tarlah moves out of range as Willshire strikes.

Tarlah forces Willshire back against the cage and clinches.
Tarlah lands a body shot in the clinch.
Nice body punch from Tarlah - that landed with a thud.
The referee calls for Tarlah to work.
Willshire is trying to push Tarlah away but Tarlah has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Tarlah is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Willshire can do to turn this around?

Tarlah drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Tarlah scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Willshire to see if he's OK.
Tarlah is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Tarlah takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Willshire wants to hold on but Tarlah pushes him away.
Tarlah won't let Willshire get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Willshire wants to control but Tarlah is having none of it.
Tarlah is landing with some decent strikes but Willshire is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Willshire can't escape the position.
Tarlah content just to control the position here.

BOOM! Tarlah connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Willshire is trying to stand up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tarlah takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Tarlah's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Willshire moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Tarlah manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Willshire on his heels. He'll look to pass Willshire's guard now, I'm sure.
Tarlah cracks Willshire with a solid left hand.
Willshire controls Tarlah momentarily but Tarlah frees himself.
Willshire is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Tarlah is controlling him.
Tarlah sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Balink Tarlah overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Tarlah digs a good body shot into Willshire's ribs.

Tarlah drives through and clinches with Willshire against the cage.

Tarlah looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Willshire wants to get back to full guard but Tarlah has passed into side control.
Willshire can't do much from the bottom here.
Willshire takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Tarlah just content to control the position.
Willshire looking for a sweep but Tarlah has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Tarlah tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Perdue Willshire has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Willshire is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Tarlah takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Tarlah cracks Willshire with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Willshire tries to reverse the position but Tarlah maintains control.
Tarlah controlling his opponent.

And that's the end of the fight!
Balink Tarlah showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Tarlah has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
