Diesel dives in and grabs Salvacion's left leg, looking for a takedown. Salvacion pushes down on Diesel's head and hops out.
Salvacion seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Diesel tries to clinch up but Salvacion circles away and keeps his distance.
As Diesel backs away, Salvacion returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

Diesel gets control of Salvacion's arms and successfully pulls guard. Diesel will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

and Salvacion makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Diesel changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Salvacion tries to avoid it but Diesel manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Salvacion to the ground. Salvacion escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
As Diesel backs away, Salvacion returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Diesel throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Diesel! But no joy.
Diesel is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Salvacion keeps the fight on the outside.
Salvacion throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Diesel ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Salvacion moves away.

Diesel shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Salvacion is trying to defend but Diesel finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Salvacion is staying active underneath Diesel, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Diesel lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Diesel is stalling here. Salvacion is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Diesel seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Salvacion has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Diesel tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Salvacion manages to move to mount!

Diesel tries to lock up and control but Salvacion gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Diesel shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Salvacion sprawls well. Salvacion wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Diesel gets slowly back to his feet.

Salvacion knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Diesel on the ground.

Salvacion content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Diesel has locked up a guillotine! Diesel's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Salvacion is holding on here and Diesel must be using up a lot of energy. Salvacion has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Diesel gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
