Gin lands a nice shot that snaps Simpson's head back.

and Gin connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

and Gin counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Gin tries to throw a body punch but Simpson avoids it by throwing Gin back against the cage.

Gin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Simpson manages to avoid it.
Simpson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Simpson is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Simpson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gin throws out the jab.

Gin lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Gin keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

and Gin counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Gin throws a head kick but Simpson moves out of range.
Gin feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Simpsons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Gin is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Simpson had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Gin changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
A lazy left from Gin finds it's target.

Gin uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Simpson.
Gin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Gin throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Simpson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Simpson takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Gin moves into the clinch successfully.
Gin makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Simpson misses with some punches.
Our sources have told us that Simpson has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight.

Gin lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Gin misses with a hook from the clinch.
Gin scores with a nice hook to the head.

Gin makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Gin manages to break the clinch.
Gin throws a lazy right hand but Simpson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Gin lands a big head kick that sends Simpson tumbling to the mat! Gin takes a step backwards and waves Simpson back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Oh Simpson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gin blocks a jab.
Jargon Gin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gin lands a right hook to the body.
Simpson throws a poor cross that misses
and Gin counters with a big right hand! Oh Simpson is in trouble here! Gin follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jargon Gin!
