Two avoids the body shot from Barnes.
Two is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

and Barnes connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Barnes darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Barnes takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Barnes is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Barnes has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Barnes lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Two quite badly. Two pulls Barnes in close trying to recover. Barnes postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Two on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Two doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Don Barnes!
