Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anton Gardner (ranked 683 p4p, 1187 weight class) and Adam Schiff (ranked 88 p4p, 138 weight class). Schiff has chosen Side to Side as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Gardner looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Gardner clobbers Schiff with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Schiff with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Gardner to score with a decent uppercut.
Schiff is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gardner.

Schiff has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Gardner lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Schiff jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Gardner walks away with a smile on his face. Schiff gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Gardner lands a big right hand that sends Schiff crashing to the mat! Gardner stays standing though and waves Schiff back to his feet!
Schiff is rocked!
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Gardner sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Schiff 's defenses. It connects perfectly with Schiff 's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
