Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rikuto Ryuunosuke (ranked 1281 p4p, 1278 weight class) and Charles Manson (ranked 164 p4p, 163 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ryuunosuke might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to You Wa Shock. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rikuto Ryuunosuke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Charles Manson!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Saam Ante and Paul Aken.

Manson ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Ryuunosuke tries to clinch up
and Manson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Rikuto Ryuunosuke has been cut.
Manson throws a nice looking combination but Ryuunosuke bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Ryuunosuke pushes Manson up against the cage in a clinch.
Manson lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Manson throws a punch but it's blocked by Ryuunosuke.
Manson tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Ryuunosuke jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Manson walks away with a smile on his face. Ryuunosuke gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Manson tries to bum rush Ryuunosuke with a series of wild strikes but Ryuunosuke uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Ryuunosuke tries to clinch but Manson is having none of it.
Ryuunosuke takes one to the chin there.
Manson lands a nice looking body shot.
Manson lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Ryuunosuke at a distance.
Rikuto Ryuunosuke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Manson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Ryuunosuke looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Manson lands a glancing blow to the side of Ryuunosuke's head.
Ryuunosuke has closed the distance and engaged Manson in a clinch.
Ryuunosuke blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Ryuunosuke jumps guard and drags Manson to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Ryuunosuke is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Ryuunosuke is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Manson is aware though and is defending well.
Manson controls from within his opponent's guard.
Manson tries to free his leg and advance position but Ryuunosuke is retaining full guard.
Manson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ryuunosuke has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Manson has managed to get both his arms back between Ryuunosuke's legs - danger averted.
Ryuunosuke wants to hit a sweep here but Manson passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Ryuunosuke there!
Manson has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Ryōzanpaku Dojo. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Ryuunosuke wants to control but Manson is having none of it.

Manson is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Ryuunosuke to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Ryuunosuke shrugs it off.

Ryuunosuke defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Manson's arms.
Manson has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Ryuunosuke! Can he survive? No! He's out! Manson gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Charles Manson!
A relieved looking Charles Manson thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
