Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Niek Mulder (ranked 731 p4p, 141 weight class) and Rene Lafayette (ranked 117 p4p, 22 weight class). Lafayette has chosen Erasure - Always as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Lafayette sizes up Mulder with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Lafayette tries to close the distance and clinch but Mulder swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

We've been hearing good reports from Mulder's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

A big strike lands for Mulder! That's really hurt Lafayette and he's turned his back - Mulder keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Mulder jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
