Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Lesnar (ranked 1189 p4p, 2320 weight class) and Sam Bellafontane (ranked 48 p4p, 93 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 27 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mark Lesnar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 15 - 16 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sam Bellafontane! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Sosuke Kotani and Yukihiro Shimada.

Bellafontane lands a left and a right that sends Lesnar crashing to the canvas! Bellafontane dives into mount looking to finish!
It looks like Mark Lesnar has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bellafontane lands with some strikes. Bellafontane misses with a head shot. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bellafontane lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Lesnar is rocked! Lesnar tries to lock up and control but Bellafontane gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Lesnar bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bellafontane can do anything to dispel that myth. Bellafontane looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lesnar is one step ahead there. Lesnar working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Bellafontane's head. Bellafontane tries to strike from the bottom.
Lesnar is working Bellafontane over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Bellafontane looking for a sweep. Not yet Bellafontane, not yet. Lesnar has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Lesnar is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Lesnar lands a couple of digs. Lesnar distracts Bellafontane with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Bellafontane being controlled here, momentarily.

Bellafontane throws a strike but Lesnar rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Lesnar lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Bellafontane is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Lesnar postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Lesnar wants to control from the top but Bellafontane keeps moving. Bellafontane really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lesnar. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Bellafontane wants to sweep here but Lesnar controlling him for the moment. Bellafontane is still trying to improve position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lesnar working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Lesnar with a nice head shot there. Lesnar stopping the sweep attempt from Bellafontane. Lesnar landing some decent shots from guard. Bellafontane bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lesnar's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lesnar manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bellafontane manages to get himself to full guard.
Bellafontane wants to sweep but no luck. Lesnar advances to half guard. Lesnar landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Bellafontane is rocked! Lesnar is controlling the pace.
Bellafontane is still in real trouble! Can Lesnar finish him? Lesnar is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Bellafontane is hurt! He's hurt bad - Lesnar fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Bellafontane from any more punishment! Congratulations to Lesnar! Great finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mark Lesnar! In his post fight interview, Mark Lesnar started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
