Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Fo (ranked 3005 p4p, 4540 weight class) and Falkner Short (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fo kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Cypis - Gdzie jest biały węgorz ?. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tyler Fo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Falkner Short! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Marco Blurström and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Short works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Fo with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Short to score with a decent uppercut. Short misses with a body shot.
It looked like Fo was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Fo closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Fo blocks an uppercut.
Short doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

A head punch on the inside from Short fails to land. Fo pulls guard successfully.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Fo holds on and takes a little breather. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fo has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Short preventing the sweep. Short is fighting to break Fo's control of his arms but Fo is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Fo looking for a sweep. Not yet Fo, not yet.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. A left lands for Short.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Short tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Fo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Fo gets a clinch. Short misses with a hook to the ribs.

Fo manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Short really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Fo lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Fo sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fo seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Short for as long as he can get away with. Short looking to control.
Fo showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Fo is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Fo decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Short, up you get!
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Fo looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Short! Short takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Fo stands up and we're back to a striking position. Short cracks Fo with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Fo scores with a takedown into Short's guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Fo content to stall in guard here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tyler Fo dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. A lazy left from Short finds it's target. Short moves in looking to clinch but Fo pushes him off. Fo is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Short can do to turn this around? Fo shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Short's guard. Fo showing good wrestling skills to control the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fo stands up and waves to Short to follow him. Short throws out a powerful jab. A left lands for Short. Fo gets a takedown into half guard. Fo landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fo controlling the action here. Fo is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Fo escapes and gets back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Short throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Short misses with a straight right. Fo closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Fo lands in his opponent's guard. Short being controlled here, momentarily. Fo drops back looking for a leg! Short is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Short manages to kick Fo off! Fo jumps back into Short's guard. Fo distracts Short with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fo gets to his feet. Short looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Fo here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Fo needs to keep his hands up - Short had a free shot at his head there. Fo closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Short to the mat! Short manages to get full guard. Short is trying to control the position here. Fo has hold of a guillotine from the top though... oh, that looks naaaaasty, will Short tap? Yes he will! The fight is all over! Fo jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Tyler Fo! Tyler Fo looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'Bruh thank you for the support'.
