Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dustin Hopkins!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Edson Gomes and Emerson Jorge.

Gon misses with a wild combination.
Hopkins takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Hopkins shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Gon counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Hopkins thinking.
Gon looks to land a combination but Hopkins avoids it well.
Hopkins looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Hopkins rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Gon counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Hopkins dives in and grabs Gon's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gon pushes down on Hopkins's head and hops out.

and Gon connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Gon throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Hopkins colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Gon as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Hopkins is left battered and dazed whilst Gon and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ron Gon!
