Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jim O Neil (ranked 3118 p4p, 3821 weight class) and Walter Wiener (ranked 326 p4p, 382 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jim O Neil!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Walter Wiener!

O Neil moves in looking to clinch but Wiener pushes him off.
The fight stays on the outside here - O Neil looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Wiener ducks down and throws a hook to the body but O Neil moves away.

Wiener tries to keep at a distance but O Neil has taken the fight into the clinch.

Wiener is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

O Neil went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! O Neil crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Wiener - the referee stops the clock and O Neil gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Wiener. O Neil manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Wiener in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

O Neil connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Wiener! He's out on his feet! O Neil rushes in and drops Wiener with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
