Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Test Five (ranked 21286 p4p, 22676 weight class) and Gunnar Hamundarson (ranked 166 p4p, 177 weight class). Gunnar Hamundarson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Test Five! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gunnar Hamundarson! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Sosuke Kotani and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Five misses with a looping left. Hamundarson is looking to clinch but Five is avoiding it.

and Hamundarson counters with a thumping low kick. Five fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Hamundarson doesn't manage to clinch there - Five circles away.
Five tries to counter by clinching up but Hamundarson breaks away and moves out of range. Five throws a hook to the side of Hamundarson's head but Hamundarson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Hamundarson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Test Five seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A swing and a miss from Five. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hamundarson darts in looking for a takedown but Five gets double underhooks and turns Hamundarson into the cage. Five scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Hamundarson doesn't seem bothered though. Hamundarson shoots in for a takedown but Five shows good takedown defense. Hamundarson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Hamundarson lands with a hook. Five tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Five tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hamundarson was well out of range. Poor timing from Five. Hamundarson moves in looking to clinch but Five pushes him off. Hamundarson feints and as Five raises his hands in defense, Hamundarson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Five is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Hamundarson controls from within his opponent's guard. Let's hope that Hamundarson has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Five on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Five tries to get out of the position. We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Hamundarson.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hamundarson is pushing down on Five's leg trying to pass to half guard. Five is fighting to maintain full guard but Hamundarson has managed to sneak the leg through. Five knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hamundarson on the ground. Hamundarson seems to be working for a kimura but Five defends the submission attempt. Hamundarson passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Five! Hamundarson can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Five is looking to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hamundarson content just to control the position here. Yet more stalling tactics from Hamundarson.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Hamundarson with the ground and pound from mount. Hamundarson looking to finish with strikes here!
Hamundarson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Five wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Hamundarson.
Hamundarson content just to control the position here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gunnar Hamundarson dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Hamundarson darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Hamundarson escapes and gets back to his feet. Hamundarson throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Five's head.
It looks like Test Five has been cut. Hamundarson drops Five with a beautiful combination! Five stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Hamundarson is looking for the KO!
Five is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Hamundarson weaves into range and cracks Five right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Five goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Hamundarson is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
