Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nobuhito Inoue (ranked 4635 p4p, 4631 weight class) and Adriano Jose Dos Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nobuhito Inoue! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Adriano Jose Dos Santos! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Joseph Jones and Eddie Farnsworth.

Dos Santos closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dos Santos lands in his opponent's guard. Dos Santos has gone for a leg lock! Inoue slips out almost immediately though and dives into Dos Santos's guard.
Dos Santos has his foot on Inoue's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Inoue works his way back into a safe position though. Inoue might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Dos Santos looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Dos Santos has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Inoue is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Dos Santos. Inoue decides to stand back up. Inoue steps back and let's Dos Santos get back to his feet. Dos Santos shoots in looking for a takedown but Inoue manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dos Santos's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Inoue appears to be looking for a big counter. Dos Santos closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dos Santos lands in his opponent's guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dos Santos thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Dos Santos drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dos Santos jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Inoue has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dos Santos can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Inoue trying to keep a closed guard but Dos Santos is proving a slippery customer.
Dos Santos drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Inoue dives on top into guard.
Inoue got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dos Santos has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Inoue has managed to get both his arms back between Dos Santos's legs - danger averted. Dos Santos has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Inoue can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Dos Santos escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Inoue gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Dos Santos is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Inoue trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Inoue has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dos Santos is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Inoue pulls his head out easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dos Santos is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Inoue's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Inoue's back! Dos Santos working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Dos Santos has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Inoue has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Well, with Dos Santos on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Inoue is tapping out... Can he escape the position? Inoue preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Dos Santos. Adriano Jose Dos Santos dominated that round. That's time! Inoue's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Dos Santos dives in and grabs Inoue's left leg, looking for a takedown. Inoue pushes down on Dos Santos's head and hops out. Dos Santos will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Adriano Jose Dos Santos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dos Santos with a lazy takedown attempt and Inoue holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Nobuhito Inoue has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adriano Jose Dos Santos. Dos Santos takes a shot to the head. Dos Santos can't find room to land a body shot as Inoue controls the action.

Dos Santos drops back, looking for a kneebar! Inoue looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Inoue looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Inoue!
Inoue stands up. Inoue changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Dos Santos with a poor takedown and Inoue counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Inoue dives in and grabs Dos Santos's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dos Santos pushes down on Inoue's head and hops out. Inoue scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Dos Santos shoots for a takedown but Inoue saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dos Santos misses with a takedown attempt - Inoue sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Dos Santos is breathing heavily. Inoue lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Inoue changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dos Santos tries to avoid it but Inoue manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dos Santos to the ground. Dos Santos escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Inoue gets in close and instigates a clinch. Dos Santos has Inoue pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Inoue manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Inoue avoiding damage.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dos Santos looking for a triangle here. Inoue is fighting it but it looks tight! Dos Santos pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Inoue is tapping out - this one is all over!
