Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ciro Terranova!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Chris Edwards and Richard Clark.

Gonza throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gonza swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Terranova raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Good exchange - Gonza coming out on top.
A low kick lands for Gonza.

Donk. Gonza catches Terranova right on the button with a cross.
Gonza misses with a wild body shot.
A little jabbing left from Terranova on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Gonza throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Terranova counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Terranova lands a big head kick that sends Gonza tumbling to the mat! Terranova takes a step backwards and waves Gonza back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Gonza is rocked!
It looks like Captain Gonza has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Terranova throws a nice looking combination but Gonza bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Gonza jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Terranova is looking for the big counter here.
Gonza lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Terranova at a distance.
Gonza throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Terranova stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Gonza turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Gonza cracks Terranova with a good jab.
Terranova slips a jab and a cross from Gonza.
Terranova looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Gonza lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Terranova displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gonza throws out the jab.
Terranova doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
The fighters circling - Gonza throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Nice straight punches there by Gonza. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Gonza.
It looks like Gonza has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Gonza connects with a nice looking jab.
Gonza lands with a nice body punch.

Nice defenses there by Terranova.
It seemed like Terranova was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Gonza lands with an uppercut that bounces Terranova off the cage and back into range.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Captain Gonza seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gonza misses the body punch
and Terranova counters with a nice right hand that sends Gonza toppling to the canvas! Gonza scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Terranova finish him?!
Oh Gonza is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gonza defending well as Terranova loads up on a big left hand.
Gonza misses with a shot to the body
and Terranova rattles Gonza with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Gonza tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Terranova dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Gonza stiff and motionless on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Ciro Terranova!
