Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Bayner (ranked 3051 p4p, 1420 weight class) and Liger Justin (ranked 413 p4p, 214 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Thomas Bayner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Liger Justin! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, William Peck and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Justin on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Bayner tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Justin was well out of range. Poor timing from Bayner. Justin cracks Bayner with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Justin jabbing away but nothing is landing. A little feinted left hand from Bayner on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Justin shoots in and bounces Bayner off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Bayner controls Justin momentarily but Justin frees himself. Bayner is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Javi Gym that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. Justin scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Justin won't allow Bayner to sweep him here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Justin not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Let's hope that Justin has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Bayner is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Justin is aware though and is defending well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bayner looking for submissions off his back. Justin is taking a breather. Bayner says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Bayner looking for submissions off his back. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Justin working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well. Ground and pound from Justin. Justin slows the pace down in half guard. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Bayner is trying to get back to full guard. Justin slows the pace down in half guard. Bayner gets full guard. Bayner looking for a sweep. Not yet Bayner, not yet. Bayner working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Justin. Justin is looking to work some ground and pound but Bayner has wrist control. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Justin lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Justin throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bayner works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Bayner trying to keep a closed guard but Justin is proving a slippery customer.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Justin scores with a takedown into Bayner's guard. Justin landing some decent shots from guard. Bayner is looking for a triangle but Justin pushes his legs off easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Justin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bayner swivels though and keeps the full guard. Justin throwing strikes but missing. Justin landing with the ground and pound. Justin sitting in guard here, content to control. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Justin in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Bayner controls Justin momentarily but Justin frees himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Liger Justin dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. No luck for Justin with that takedown attempt. Bayner is looking for a counter combo. Justin has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Nice takedown defense from Bayner. No joy for Justin on that attempt. Justin throws the left hand but Bayner avoids the punch easily. Bayner misses with a wild body shot. Bayner throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bayner with a nice cross. A jab lands there for Bayner. Justin is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Bayner's half guard. Bayner is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Justin connects with a nice short shot to Bayner's temple. Justin is nestled in close to Bayner, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
That's one minute gone in the round. Justin with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Liger Justin has got the better of the ground game so far. Bayner actively working from the bottom here. Justin stalling. Justin's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Bayner looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Justin prevents Bayner from improving his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Justin takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Bayner trying to hold on to Justin's head to control him but Justin postures up.
Justin controlling the action here. Justin tries to pass to full mount but Bayner defends it. Justin sitting and controlling from the half guard.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Bayner connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Justin throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Bayner counters with a stiff right hand. Justin works the jab nicely. No luck with that takedown attempt from Justin. Thomas Bayner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Liger Justin. Bayner fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Justin looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bayner is fending him off so far but Justin persists. Nope, Bayner circles away and we're back to standing. Justin drops his hands momentarily and Bayner takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Justin scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Justin in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Bayner tries to get back to half guard but can't. Justin in side control, just content to control the action for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Justin grinds an elbow into Bayner's temple. Justin cracks Bayner with a big right hand but Bayner just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bayner is trying to get back to half guard. Bayner takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Justin happy to just control the position for now. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Justin scoring with punches and elbows. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Liger Justin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Bayner's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round! Bayner throws a series of punches but Justin moves out of range. Bayner just misses with a punch to the body.
Liger Justin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Justin takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Justin slips a jab from Bayner. Bayner leaves Justin with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Bayner was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Bayner avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Bayner misses with a straight left. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Bayner looking to hit a scissor sweep but Justin is one step ahead there. Justin postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Bayner throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
