Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Lesnar (ranked 23528 p4p, 2953 weight class) and Diego Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lesnar has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Diego Souza will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Lesnar dives in and scores a takedown into Souza's guard.

Lesnar goes for a double leg but Souza avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Souza continues to drive forward.

Souza escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Souza shoots in and drives through. Lesnar sprawls well.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Souza goes for a double leg but Lesnar avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Lesnar continues to drive forward.
A little feinted left hand from Lesnar on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Souza shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Lesnar eats them both and turns towards Souza to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Lesnar shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Souza napping and manages to drive through into side control!

You can see the frustration on Souza's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Lesnar is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Souza is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well Souza has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A less than humble Diego Souza misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
