Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Grandpa Mertz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Royke Gleicy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Royke Gleicy will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Gleicy closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Gleicy is keen to just control but Mertz is a slippery customer.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Gleicy wants to pass to mount but Mertz is defending the position.
Mertz is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Gleicy's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Gleicy's back!
Mertz has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Gleicy's body.

Well Gleicy has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
