PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dave Locker (ranked 4940 p4p, 2998 weight class) and Robinson Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Robinson Gracie was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Gracie doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Good standup being displayed there by Locker as he connects with a hook.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Gracie shoots in and drives through. Locker sprawls well.
Locker half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Locker stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Locker comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Locker connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Gracie is rocked!
The fighters circle momentarily. Locker darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Gracie is still on wobbly legs! Can Locker finish him?
Locker connects with a right hand. Gracie shakes it off.
Locker connects with a combination that backs up Gracie into the cage. Locker lands a flurry of punches that gets past Gracie's guard. Gracie is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Locker bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.

After the fight, Dave Locker was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
