Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cross A Zoo (ranked 548 p4p, 1444 weight class) and Rip Snorten (ranked 76 p4p, 214 weight class). Snorten has chosen Sound of Silence as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Cross A Zoo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 23 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rip Snorten!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Edson Gomes and Alexandre Firmino.

Snorten misses with a straight left.
A Zoo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Snorten.
Snorten moves away from the strike by A Zoo.
A Zoo tries to clinch there but Snorten circles away.
Snorten connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between A Zoo's hands.
A nice combination there by Snorten.
Snorten lands with a straight right. A Zoo didn't see that one coming.
Snorten misses with a hook. A Zoo ducked under it nicely.
A Zoo avoids the body shot from Snorten.
Snorten tests A Zoo's chin there with a solid looking shot.
A Zoo misses with a few strikes there.
A low kick lands for A Zoo.

Snorten misses with an uppercut. A Zoo saw that one coming.
A Zoo takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Snorten will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Snorten takes a swing at A Zoo's ribcage but misses.
A Zoo slips a straight right by Snorten.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Snorten has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
A Zoo on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Snorten lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
A Zoo throws a leg kick which misses Snorten's front leg but catches the back leg as Snorten tries to avoid it.
A Zoo drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
A Zoo is rocked!
Nice body kick from Snorten.
Oh A Zoo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Snorten throws a poor cross that misses
and A Zoo counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
A Zoo seems to have got his legs back now.
A Zoo gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Snorten cracks A Zoo with a hook to the temple - A Zoo is on wobbly legs here! Snorten swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! A Zoo falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Snorten wins by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Rip Snorten!
