The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Silverio drives through and clinches with Gatsby against the ropes.
Gatsby turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Gatsby manages to end up in side control. Score +4 for clean takedown past guard: Gatsby (4) vs (0) Silverio
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Gatsby has knee on belly momentarily but Silverio bucks him off and regains half guard.
Gatsby is working for a submission of some sort.
Silverio is defending against the submission attempts here by Gatsby.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Silverio is refusing to be controlled, as Gatsby sits in half guard.
Silverio has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.
Gatsby is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Silverio is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
