Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Generic Man (ranked 5167 p4p, 4724 weight class) and Kyle Durston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Generic Man! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kyle Durston! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.

Man is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Man will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Durston up against the cage. Durston has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Man uses from the top position. Durston keeping moving, preventing Man from controlling successfully. Man knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Durston on the ground. Man has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Man won't allow Durston to sweep him here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Man is fighting to break Durston's control of his arms but Durston is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Durston keeping moving, preventing Man from controlling successfully. Man controls the pace of the fight for a moment. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Man stopping the sweep attempt from Durston.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Durston drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Durston is looking to stand up but Man won't let him. Durston stopping the sweep attempt from Man. Man is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Man looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Durston puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Durston takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Man tries to roll over but Durston keeps him under control. Durston content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Man is looking for a sweep. Durston is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Durston connects with a nice short shot to Man's temple. Durston tries to stand but can't do so whilst Man controls his leg. Durston looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Man is trying to maintain the position but Durston is very close to passing his half guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Man ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Man staying out of range there. Man half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Durston swinging wildly here.
Man connects with an inside leg kick. No luck for Durston with that takedown attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A momentary lapse in concentration from Man enables Durston to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Man manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Man has a closed guard, preventing Durston from standing up. Durston seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Durston with a flurry of punches that miss. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kyle Durston dominated that round. That's time! Man's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Durston has Man up against the cage in a clinch.
Durston is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Man is defending well. Durston has picked Man up - he's going for a ride! Durston dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Man is kicking away at Durston from the bottom - trying to push off and stand up. Durston grabs hold of a leg and drops back for a heel hook! The two fighters roll across the mat, with Man trying to push Durston off... Man taps! He's tapped! This one is all over! A throwback to the old Pancrase there with an infrequently seen submission hold! Nice work.
