Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Hines (ranked 2594 p4p, 2235 weight class) and Andrew Barnes (ranked 364 p4p, 325 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Hines.
Barnes throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Hines counters with a nice double leg into side control. Barnes won't be happy with that.
Hines prevents Barnes from escaping the position.
Hines creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Barnes sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Hines works to advance to full mount. Barnes defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hines is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Barnes has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Barnes!

Hines escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Barnes gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Barnes looking to sit in guard and control but Hines gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Hines has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Barnes has control of Hines's left arm, preventing Hines from doing any damage.

Hines postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Barnes is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Hines, into his guard.

Barnes sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hines's guard.

Hines is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Barnes pulls his head out easily.

Barnes stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Hines to get to his feet.
Hines dives in and grabs Barnes's left leg, looking for a takedown. Barnes pushes down on Hines's head and hops out.
Barnes connects with a high kick.

Barnes lands with a kick to the temple. Hines shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Hines takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Barnes drives through and clinches with Hines against the cage.

Hines is trying to pull guard but Barnes has him pressed against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tyler Hines. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Barnes lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hines jumps guard but Barnes turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Hines ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Hines no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Crunch! Barnes slams his shin into Hines's torso.
Barnes displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Barnes lands a right hook to the body.

Barnes lands a left and a right that send Hines crashing to the mat, dazed. Barnes thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Hines dives in and grabs Barnes's left leg, looking for a takedown. Barnes pushes down on Hines's head and hops out.
Oh Hines is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

OH! Hines has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Barnes smells blood and charges in for the finish! Barnes unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Hines sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
