Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jamal Lloyd (ranked 24119 p4p, 24231 weight class) and Ricky Sticky (ranked 512 p4p, 524 weight class). Lloyd comes into the arena with Woke up this Morning- Alabama 3 blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ricky Sticky!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Anni Minnemäki.

Sticky closes the distance and pushes Lloyd back into the cage.
Lloyd lands a hook to the side of the head.
Sticky jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lloyd walks away with a smile on his face. Sticky gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Sticky misses with a takedown attempt - Lloyd sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Lloyd throws a big counter combination but Sticky scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Sticky misses with a straight left.
Lloyd was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Sticky has had enough of the clinch but Lloyd keeps him there for the moment.
Lloyd lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Lloyd blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

and Lloyd counters with a crisp right hand that drops Sticky! Lloyd lets Sticky back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Sticky is rocked!

Sticky takes the fight into the clinch.
Sticky jumps guard but Lloyd stands there with Sticky around his waist. Sticky gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Jamal Lloyd has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ricky Sticky.
Lloyd lands a left hand.
Sticky's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Sticky is still on wobbly legs! Can Lloyd finish him?

Lloyd looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Sticky is trying to break the clinch but Lloyd is controlling him.

Lloyd throws a big uppercut that drops Sticky! More strikes from Lloyd and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Sticky lies dazed against the cage as Lloyd celebrates with his cornermen!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jamal Lloyd!
After winning the bout, Jamal Lloyd thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
