Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Alexander Varengir! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shirou Masuda.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Varengir closes this distance looking for a takedown but Reaper circles away. Reaper tries to counter with a takedown but Varengir is quick to defend against it. Dzintars Reaper has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexander Varengir. Varengir misses with a takedown and Reaper counters with a series of strikes. Varengir will be more careful next time no doubt. Reaper defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Varengir. A low kick from Varengir is predictable there and Reaper counters with a takedown into side control. Reaper is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Varengir knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

He's almost out here... but no, Reaper gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Reaper is staying tight to Varengir's torso, preventing him from escaping. Reaper working away. That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Reaper advances to mount. Reaper controlling from mount. Reaper lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
We've been informed that Varengir has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Reaper scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Varengir?

Dzintars Reaper dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action! Varengir dives in for a single leg takedown but Reaper sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Dzintars Reaper is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Reaper fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Varengir to the ground. Reaper is now in Varengir's guard. Reaper knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Varengir on the ground. Varengir has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Reaper should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Varengir has tightened it up now! Reaper should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
