Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between RJ Cain (ranked 937 p4p, 1340 weight class) and Chace Chacing (ranked 136 p4p, 192 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Cain might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Middle Class Rut . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, RJ Cain! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Chace Chacing! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Matheus Silva and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chacing uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Chacing looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Chacing throws a right and a left that Cain avoids nicely. A slow jab from Cain misses its intended target. The fighters circling - Chacing throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Cain connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Cain defending well as Chacing loads up on a big left hand. Cain throwing a counter right hand but Chacing manages to avoid it. Chacing throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Chacing jabs Cain to the body, keeping him at a distance. Cain lands a body shot.
Chace Chacing seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cain ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Chacing moves away. Chacing lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Chacing. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Chacing slips under a jab. Some wild striking there from Cain.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chacing misses the jab. Chacing manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Cain on his heels. He'll look to pass Cain's guard now, I'm sure. Cain is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Gunner's School of Combat that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. Chacing looking to pass the guard. Cain keeping moving, preventing Chacing from controlling successfully. Chacing sitting in guard, not really doing much. Cain on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Cain tries to get out of the position. Chacing wants to control from the top but Cain keeps moving. Cain knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Chacing on the ground. Cain is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chacing trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Chacing trying to control but Cain is working from the bottom.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. RJ Cain is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A swing and a miss from Cain. Cain is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Chacing. Chacing avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Cain ducks under a wild hook from Chacing. Cain misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Chacing.
A telegraphed right hand from Chacing misses the target. Chacing cracks Cain with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Chacing throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Cain sees it coming and avoids it easily. Chacing throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Chacing drives through and clinches with Cain against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chacing is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Cain is defending well against a takedown attempt. RJ Cain has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chace Chacing. Cain prevents a body shot from Chacing. A frustrated look appears on Cain's face as he tries to break the clinch. Cain wants to break the clinch but can't.

Chacing lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Chacing swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Chacing is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Cain to keep the fight standing. Chacing lands a hook that snaps the head of Cain backwards. Cain tries to break the clinch but Chacing is controlling the position. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Chacing. Cain blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Cain. Chacing misses with some punches.
Cain avoiding damage as Chacing throws knees to the body.
Chacing displaying some good clinch control by pressing Cain up against the cage. Chacing pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cain jabbing away but nothing is landing. Cain lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
It looks like Chace Chacing has been cut. Chacing scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Chacing takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Nice uppercut there from Chacing. Chacing misses with the combination.
Cain misses with a series of wild punches.
Chacing shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Cain but Cain pushes him off and we're back to square one. A jab from Chacing finds it's way through Cain's defenses. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Chace Chacing dominated that round. The cut man is working on Chace Chacing's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Cain scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Chace Chacing seems to be getting the better of the standup. Chacing misses with a jab, cross combination.
A quick step to the side and Cain tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Chacing throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Cain fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Cain throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Cain paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Chacing might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Chacing is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Cain throws a big shot that misses. Cain misses with a wild body shot. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chacing scores with a decent looking hook. Chacing tries to clinch but Cain moves out of range. Chacing moves into range and connects with a jab. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Chacing looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Cain slips a straight right by Chacing.
That's one minute gone in the round. A punch lands to the side of Chacing 's head but he takes it in his stride. Chacing looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Chacing wants to pass the guard but Cain is defending well. Chacing is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Chacing drops back, looking for a kneebar! Cain looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Cain looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Cain! Chacing manages to work his way to half guard, despite Cain's best efforts. Cain controlling the action here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cain is looking to take a break and control but Chacing is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Chacing trying to control from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chacing is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Cain pulls his head out easily. Cain controlling the action here. Cain wants to free his trapped foot but Chacing is holding on for dear life with his legs. Cain wants to lay and pray for a moment but Chacing keeps working. Cain seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Chacing has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Cain escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Cain! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
RJ Cain dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Chace Chacing's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards. Cain thows a left - swing and a miss! Chacing wants to clinch. Chacing shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Cain sprawls well. Cain wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Chacing gets slowly back to his feet. A looping hook to the body misses from Cain. Chacing does a little dance to reset his feet. Chacing catches Cain with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chacing throws the left hand but Cain avoids the punch easily. Cain throws a big counter combination but Chacing scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Chacing looks to land a right hand but Cain moved out of range. Chacing misses with an uppercut. Cain saw that one coming. Chacing stuns Cain with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Chacing swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Cain was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chacing has his takedown stuffed and Chacing takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Cain tries to keep at a distance but Chacing has taken the fight into the clinch. Chacing misses with the head strike.
Chacing tries to land knees in the clinch but Cain avoids the damage to the body. Cain escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Chacing has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Cain regains guard immediately. Chace Chacing has got the better of the ground game so far. Chacing tries to free his leg and advance position but Cain is retaining full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cain lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Chacing is looking for a triangle but Cain pushes his legs off easily.

Chacing wants to improve his position but Cain is controlling well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chacing looking for submissions off his back. Cain wants to pass the guard but Chacing is defending well. Chacing tries to roll over but Cain keeps him under control. Chacing gets back to full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Chacing wants to control but Cain passes easily into half guard.

Cain prevents Chacing from improving his position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Chace Chacing. Well Chacing has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
