Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rip Snorten (ranked 578 p4p, 660 weight class) and Khru Jako (ranked 84 p4p, 95 weight class). Snorten comes to the cage accompanied by Sound of Silence. Jako has chosen Catch a Fire as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Khru Jako!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Leandro Rodrigues and Daniel Cesar.

Jako fails to land with a series of punches.
Snorten lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Snorten moves into range and clinches up with Jako.

Snorten tightens his grip and picks Jako up, before dumping him to the ground. Jako manages to land in guard.

Snorten shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jako sprawls well. Jako wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Snorten gets slowly back to his feet.

Jako throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Snorten blocks it with crossed arms.
Jako has Snorten pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Snorten is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Jako - that's hurt Snorten badly! Oh, another knee lands and Snorten is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Snorten doesn't seem to be complaining.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Khru Jako!
Khru Jako decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
