Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, John Lock!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Luis Engracia and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pereira Carvalho misses with a wild combination.
Lock closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Lock decides to stand back up.
Lock shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Pereira Carvalho is trying to defend but Lock finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Lock decides to stand and escape the position.
Pereira Carvalho jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pereira Carvalho misses the shot to the body.
Lock with the counter takedown but Pereira Carvalho avoids it easily.

Lock with a lazy takedown attempt
and Pereira Carvalho counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Pereira Carvalho swings for the body but Lock moves out of range.
Lock drives through with a takedown into Pereira Carvalho's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

letting Pereira Carvalho counter with a right hand.
Pereira Carvalho feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Lock sprawling to the canvas! Lock rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Pereira Carvalho finish him?!
Lock is rocked!
It looks like John Lock has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lock dives in for a single leg takedown but Pereira Carvalho sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Lock is still on wobbly legs! Can Pereira Carvalho finish him?
Samuel Pereira Carvalho has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Lock.
Pereira Carvalho misses with a looping right.
Lock shoots in but no luck this time.
Lock walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Lock limp body while Pereira Carvalho jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
