The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Kraulthammer scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Kraulthammer is looking to take a break and control but Adam is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Adam looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Adam tries to roll over but Kraulthammer keeps him under control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Adam trying to hold on to Kraulthammer's head to control him but Kraulthammer postures up.
Kraulthammer seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Adam does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kraulthammer is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Adam to slip a leg under and get back to full guard. Kraulthammer trying to control but Adam is working from the bottom. We've been hearing good reports from Kraulthammer's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Kraulthammer is sitting in close to Adam's body. Adam has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Kraulthammer is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Kraulthammer is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Adam.
