Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Morris Day (ranked 3507 p4p, 4123 weight class) and Miguel Machin (ranked 349 p4p, 396 weight class). Machin has chosen Pandora's Music Box as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 12 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Morris Day! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 12 - 17 - 0, fighting out of London, Miguel Machin! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yukihiro Shimada and Ren Mimura.

Machin connects with a body shot that sends Day's belly button to the back. Machin throws a leg kick but Day sees it coming and moves out of range. Day tries to counter with a takedown but Machin is quick to defend against it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Machin lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Day looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Morris Day. That's going to take a lot out of him. Day tries for a takedown but Machin circles away easily and Machin counters with a stiff right hand. Day is breathing heavily. Machin stuffs the takedown attempt from Day. Day gets slowly back to his feet. Day fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Machin gets caught flat footed, as Day shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Machin wants to stand up but Day is controlling him. Day throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Machin works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Machin lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Day escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Machin gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Machin works a leg free and moves into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Machin trying to mount his opponent but Day defends it. Day looking for submissions off his back. Machin is taking a breather. Day says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Day tries to roll over but Machin keeps him under control. Day is in trouble now - Machin has advanced to mount! Day tries to get back to half guard but can't. Machin is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Day to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Day shrugs it off. Day is wriggling around trying to escape.
Day regains half guard. Machin is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Miguel Machin dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Machin slaps away a takedown attempt from Day, before circling back to the center of the mat. A little jabbing left from Machin on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Day takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Machin scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Machin has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Machin throws a right and a left that both miss. Machin connects with a crisp jab. Day misses with a takedown attempt - Machin sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Day dives in and grabs Machin's left leg, looking for a takedown. Machin pushes down on Day's head and hops out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Morris Day. That's going to take a lot out of him. Day has his takedown stuffed and Machin counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Day fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Machin avoids it really well and circles away. Machin jabs Day right on the nose. Day blinks but takes it well. Day looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Machin is fending him off so far but Day persists. Nope, Machin circles away and we're back to standing. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Day will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Machin throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
That's one minute gone in the round. Day walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Machin moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Machin misses with the combination.
Machin ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Day shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Machin with a body punch. A glancing blow. Morris Day is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Machin shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Day eats them both and turns towards Machin to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Sloppy strikes from Machin. Those never looked like landing. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Machin ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Day shoots in and drives through. Machin sprawls well. Machin lands a nice shot to the body.
Day fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Day on the wrong end of a nice hook. Machin is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Day is rocked! Day takes a body punch but keeps moving. Oh Day is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Machin's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Machin duly obliges. Machin feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Days jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Machin lands with a right that hurts Day. Day looks to clinch but Machin throws a short knee that drops Day. This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:07 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch and Knee). Miguel Machin! A very excited looking Miguel Machin rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
