Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vem No Pai (ranked 4562 p4p, 4492 weight class) and Ryan Wheeler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vem No Pai! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ryan Wheeler! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wheeler fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with No Pai, pushing him back against the cage. Wheeler gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Wheeler is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Wheeler controlling the action here. Wheeler prevents No Pai from standing back up.
Still in half guard, Wheeler seems content to control. Wheeler seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Wheeler is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wheeler landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Wheeler has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wheeler lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wheeler is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Wheeler's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Wheeler throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. No Pai wants to get back to his feet. Wheeler lands a shot to the body. Wheeler gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes. What can No Pai do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
No Pai knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wheeler on the ground. No Pai is trying to stand back up. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Wheeler just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

Ryan Wheeler dominated that round. That's time! No Pai's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. No Pai misses with an uppercut. No Pai scores with the left hand. Wheeler knows he should have avoided that one. No Pai connects with a single shot there. Wheeler keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from No Pai. Wheeler uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from No Pai. No Pai scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Wheeler. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. No Pai connects with a nice looking jab.
No Pai takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. No Pai doesn't manage to clinch there - Wheeler circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. No Pai throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. No Pai with a jab. A lazy left from No Pai finds it's target. This has been an exciting period of action! Wheeler closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming No Pai to the mat! No Pai manages to get full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wheeler sitting in guard, not really doing much. Ryan Wheeler has got the better of the ground game so far. No Pai wants to stand but Wheeler is controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Wheeler sitting in guard here, content to control. Wheeler connects with a couple of short punches. Wheeler stays in close to No Pai's body and controls the position. Let's hope that Wheeler has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. No Pai is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. No Pai misses with a right hand and Wheeler counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. No Pai scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Wheeler manages to mount him!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Wheeler controlling from mount. Wheeler is landing with some decent strikes but No Pai is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Wheeler looking to control and managing it successfully. No Pai is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Wheeler controlling the pace for now. The referee warns No Pai that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Ryan Wheeler showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

No Pai being controlled here, momentarily. Wheeler prevents No Pai from getting back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wheeler makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Wheeler scoring with some ground and pound. Wheeler slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wheeler is continuing to stall. We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Wheeler.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Wheeler shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches No Pai napping and manages to drive through into side control! No Pai wants to get back to his feet but Wheeler is dominant here and he's now got No Pai's back!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wheeler tightening his grip on No Pai, looking for the choke. Wheeler has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of No Pai's body.
No Pai is trying to stand back up. Vem No Pai has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wheeler is looking for the choke from the back position but No Pai is controlling his hands well. Wheeler cracks No Pai with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing No Pai from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.

No Pai is taking damage to the body and head. Wheeler has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Wheeler biding his time, looking for the opening.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Wheeler is riding his opponent, not letting No Pai buck him off. Wheeler lands a punch to the side of the head from the back. Wheeler slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Wheeler lands strikes to the head. Wheeler has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Wheeler is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften No Pai up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! No Pai showing good submission defense here.
Ryan Wheeler is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Can No Pai hold on?! Wheeler is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
And that's the end of the fight! Ryan Wheeler comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Wheeler winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Ryan Wheeler wins by unanimous decision! A less than humble Ryan Wheeler misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
