Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Buster McDiggle (ranked 1687 p4p, 1815 weight class) and Floyd Maybetter (ranked 229 p4p, 249 weight class). McDiggle comes to the cage accompanied by I Walk the Line- Johnny Cash. The crowd seem to be enjoying Maybetter's choice of entrance music: Don't Stop The Funk. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Floyd Maybetter enters the cage!

Maybetter sizes up McDiggle with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
It looks like Buster McDiggle has been cut.
Maybetter moves out of range of the strikes.

Maybetter shoots in for a double leg but McDiggle sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Maybetter goes for a takedown attempt but McDiggle pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
McDiggle throws a looping overhand right but Maybetter ducks down to avoid it.
McDiggle fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

and McDiggle counters with a crisp right hand that drops Maybetter! McDiggle lets Maybetter back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

and Maybetter counters with a stiff right hand.

and McDiggle counters with a crisp right hand that drops Maybetter! McDiggle lets Maybetter back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
McDiggle moves out of range of the strikes.
A quick step to the side and McDiggle tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
McDiggle throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Maybetter is looking for the big counter here.

Maybetter throws a lazy uppercut
and McDiggle scores with a counter punch that sends Maybetter to the canvas! McDiggle smells blood - he's punishing Maybetter with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Maybetter has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Buster McDiggle!
After winning the bout, Buster McDiggle thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
