Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rodney Smith (ranked 3050 p4p, 3691 weight class) and Anti Happy (ranked 308 p4p, 350 weight class). Smith comes into the arena with HighWay to Hell blaring out of the sound system. Happy has chosen Bvana iz lagune & Mikri Maus - AntiHepi as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Happy.
Smith misses with a head kick.
Happy throws a leg kick which misses Smith's front leg but catches the back leg as Smith tries to avoid it.
Happy takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Smith misses with a combination
and Smith takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Happy uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Smith.
Smith avoids a punch combination nicely.
As Happy looks to move away, Smith throws a big counter combo but Happy just gets out of the way.
Happy listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A slow jab from Happy misses its intended target.
Smith misses the jab.
Smith misses with a hook.
Despite the aggression on Happy's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Happy fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Happy is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Smith misses with a jab, cross combination.
Smith throws an off balance right hand
enabling Happy to counter with a crisp jab.
Smith throws a jab but it's blocked by Happy.
Happy jabs Smith right on the nose. Smith blinks but takes it well.
Smith throws a hook but Happy avoids it easily.

Happy gets a takedown into half guard.
Smith is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Happy working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Happy seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Smith does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Smith has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Happy. Oh but Smith has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Happy goes limp - he's gone! Smith jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
