Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Danny Lewis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Wrestling!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Lewis throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wrestling's waist but Wrestling gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lewis off to one side.
Lewis shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wrestling as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Danny Lewis. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lewis is breathing heavily.
Wrestling shoots in but Lewis avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Wrestling.
Wrestling tries to move into full mount but can't pass Lewis's legs.
Wrestling in side control lands a decent elbow.
Wrestling is looking to take a break and control but Lewis is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Wrestling is chipping away with strikes.
Wrestling trying to control the action but Lewis is working from the bottom.
Wrestling stands up and beckons Lewis to his feet.
Lewis could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Wrestling closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Lewis to the mat! Lewis manages to get full guard.
Wrestling loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Wrestling trying to control but Lewis is working from the bottom.

Lewis is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Wrestling advances position into side control!
Wrestling tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Wrestling trying to control the action but Lewis is working from the bottom.
Lewis manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lewis has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Wrestling. Oh but Lewis has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Wrestling goes limp - he's gone! Lewis jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
