Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chief Slayer (ranked 2737 p4p, 2080 weight class) and Phillip Terrell (ranked 335 p4p, 255 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Slayer walks into a left hand.
Slayer fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Slayer closes this distance looking for a takedown but Terrell circles away.
Terrell lands with a shot to the body.
Slayer shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Terrell as he jumps to the side.

Let's hope that Terrell has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Slayer tries to free his leg and advance position but Terrell is retaining full guard.
Terrell lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Slayer has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Terrell can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Slayer working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Terrell doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Terrell manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Slayer has his feet on Terrell's thighs here. He's pushed Terrell off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Terrell screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
