Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tanner Lands (ranked 4526 p4p, 4527 weight class) and Jimmy Snuka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

Snuka goes for a takedown in the clinch but Lands prevents it.
Lands throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Snuka blocks it with crossed arms.

Snuka throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Lands tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Snuka is in Lands's guard.

Snuka is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Lands has managed to free his arm - good work.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Snuka uses his free foot to push down on Lands's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Lands.

Snuka has hold of Lands's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Lands manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Snuka jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Lands is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Lands and Snuka has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Lands feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Snuka darts in looking for a takedown but Lands gets double underhooks and turns Snuka into the cage.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Lands here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Snuka drops back, looking for a kneebar! Lands looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Lands looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Lands!

Tanner Lands is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Lands is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Snuka is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
