Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alec Wolfe (ranked 2103 p4p, 2154 weight class) and Ivan Jomoney (ranked 299 p4p, 305 weight class). Ivan Jomoney is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alec Wolfe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ivan Jomoney! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Albert Achterberg and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jomoney has his takedown stuffed letting Wolfe counter with a right hand. Jomoney closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Jomoney shoots for a double leg takedown but Wolfe sprawls well. He's pushed Jomoney's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Jomoney shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Wolfe as he jumps to the side. Alec Wolfe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ivan Jomoney. Wolfe slaps away a takedown attempt from Jomoney, before circling back to the center of the mat. Jomoney shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Wolfe but Wolfe pushes him off and we're back to square one. Jomoney shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jomoney showed some decent athleticism there. Jomoney stalling away here and it's allowed Wolfe to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Wolfe holds on and takes a little breather. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jomoney stopping the sweep attempt from Wolfe. Wolfe is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Wolfe content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Jomoney is holding on to half guard well. Wolfe is thwarting Jomoney's attempts to control the position. Wolfe passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Jomoney! Jomoney is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Jomoney keeps trying to improve his position. Wolfe tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Wolfe stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Wolfe displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jomoney. Jomoney shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Wolfe napping and manages to drive through into side control!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wolfe takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Jomoney throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Wolfe works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Jomoney not landing any meaningful shots this time. Jomoney is looking to advance position but Wolfe won't allow it. Jomoney sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Wolfe defending well though. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Jomoney working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Wolfe trying to control from the bottom.
Wolfe is looking for a sweep. Jomoney is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Jomoney thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Jomoney thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Wolfe's head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jomoney throwing shots but Wolfe is blocking nicely. Wolfe avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Jomoney. Jomoney is looking to advance position but Wolfe won't allow it. Jomoney trying to control the action but Wolfe is working from the bottom. Wolfe blocking the ground and pound attempt from Jomoney. Jomoney stops Wolfe from getting back to his feet.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Wolfe scores with a hook. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jomoney shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Wolfe as he jumps to the side. Jomoney tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wolfe sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jomoney somewhat. Wolfe was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alec Wolfe dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Jomoney. Wolfe throws Jomoney to one side and escapes! Jomoney closes the distance and clinches up with Wolfe, looking for a takedown. Jomoney pushes Wolfe against the cage but Wolfe circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Wolfe is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Jomoney can do to turn this around? Jomoney darts in looking for a takedown but Wolfe gets double underhooks and turns Jomoney into the cage. Jomoney gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Wolfe counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Ivan Jomoney has been cut. Alec Wolfe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ivan Jomoney. Nice sprawl there from Wolfe as Jomoney shoots in. It looked like Wolfe was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Jomoney. This has been an exciting period of action! Jomoney fails to land the takedown. Jomoney shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Wolfe counters with a crisp right hand that drops Jomoney! Wolfe lets Jomoney back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Jomoney is rocked! Wolfe ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jomoney moves away. Jomoney is still on wobbly legs! Can Wolfe finish him? Jomoney closes this distance looking for a takedown but Wolfe circles away. Jomoney seems to have recovered his senses. Jomoney is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wolfe slaps away a takedown attempt from Jomoney, before circling back to the center of the mat. Jomoney shoots in but Wolfe avoids the takedown attempt easily. A little feinted left hand from Wolfe on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Wolfe throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Jomoney tries for a takedown but Wolfe circles away easily and Wolfe counters with a lovely shot to the body. Jomoney tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Wolfe defends well and Jomoney ends up having to push Wolfe into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. A slapping leg kick lands for Wolfe.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jomoney is defended easily by Wolfe. Wolfe stuffs the takedown. Wolfe is looking for a counter combo. Wolfe thows a left - swing and a miss! Ivan Jomoney seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jomoney looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Wolfe thinks about countering with a body kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wolfe scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Wolfe looks for the body kick but Jomoney saw that one coming. Jomoney drives through with a takedown into guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jomoney working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Wolfe manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Wolfe throws a hook to the side of Jomoney's head but Jomoney sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Jomoney throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wolfe's waist but Wolfe gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jomoney off to one side. Wolfe leaves Jomoney with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Wolfe goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wolfe cracks Jomoney with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Wolfe displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jomoney. It appears Wolfe was looking to counter with a kick there. Jomoney shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jomoney showed some decent athleticism there. Wolfe works his way to full guard. Good work. Wolfe pulls Jomoney in close to prevent any damage. Jomoney is looking to work some ground and pound but Wolfe has wrist control. Jomoney being controlled here momentarily. Jomoney throws a strike but Wolfe rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Let's see if Jomoney can do anything to dispel that myth. Wolfe tries to pass the half guard into mount. Jomoney knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Wolfe is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Jomoney is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Jomoney is trying to control but can't.

Alec Wolfe dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Ivan Jomoney's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round! Jomoney shoots in looking for a takedown. Wolfe tries to sprawl out of it but Jomoney keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wolfe manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Jomoney tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wolfe sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jomoney somewhat. Jomoney shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wolfe pinned against the cage. Wolfe gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. It looked like Wolfe wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Alec Wolfe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ivan Jomoney. Wolfe drops Jomoney with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Jomoney looks back up at him and smiles so Wolfe waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Jomoney takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Wolfe throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jomoney stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Wolfe drops Jomoney with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Jomoney! Wolfe dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alec Wolfe! Our winner, Alec Wolfe, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
