A momentary lapse in concentration from Plugger enables Thomas to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Plugger manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Thomas wants to get up but he can't break Plugger's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Plugger escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Thomas gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Thomas manages to get his head free but now Plugger has transitioned to an armbar! Thomas grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Plugger! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
