Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Shingen Arai (ranked 4468 p4p, 3447 weight class) and Tyler Fo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fo has chosen Cypis - Gdzie jest biały węgorz ? as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Arai fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Arai lands a head kick. Fo smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Arai throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Arai misses with a body kick.
Fo takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Fo drives through and clinches with Arai against the cage.

Fo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Nice takedown defense from Arai. No joy for Fo on that attempt.

Arai tries to keep at a distance but Fo has taken the fight into the clinch.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Arai has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Fo is proving hard to escape from.
Arai wants to stand and escape but instead Fo has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Fo lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Arai is looking to stand up but Fo isn't so interested in that idea.

Fo slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Fo works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Fo has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Fo is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Arai looks calm but he's in trouble here. Fo gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Arai is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Fo lets go of the hold and Arai can pop his arm back in it's socket.
