Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Damian Mia (ranked 3642 p4p, 3560 weight class) and Bayo Van Wyk (ranked 463 p4p, 450 weight class). Bayo Van Wyk will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 1, fighting out of London, Bayo Van Wyk!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Alec Ball and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Wyk closes the distance but Mia moves to the side
and Mia counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Van Wyk gets back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mia slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Van Wyk is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Van Wyk had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Mia defends it easily.
Van Wyk looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Van Wyk has his foot on Mia's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mia works his way back into a safe position though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mia working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Van Wyk is doing well to defend. Mia seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Van Wyk is forced to tap and this one is over!
