The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Ribbler has closed the distance and engaged Brown in a clinch.

Brown throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Ribbler escapes and throws Brown 's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Brown tries to lock up and control but Ribbler gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

It looks like Ribbler might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Brown is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Ribbler controlling the pace for now.
Brown sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Brown is trying to maintain the position but Ribbler is very close to passing his half guard.

Brown is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Ribbler has latched onto it... Big trouble! Ribbler pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Brown is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Ribbler!
