Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Manny Tavares (ranked 2284 p4p, 2853 weight class) and Za Beast (ranked 296 p4p, 366 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Beast shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tavares pinned against the cage. Tavares gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Beast closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Beast lands in his opponent's guard.
The fighters are working up against the cage. Tavares manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Beast goes for a double leg but Tavares avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Tavares continues to drive forward.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Manny Tavares.
