The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua throws out a loose jab but King uses good head movement to avoid it.
King throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Good standup being displayed there by Rua as he connects with a hook.
King drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Rua throws a hook but King blocks it.
Rua drops King with a huge uppercut! King drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Rua is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Semba Rua!
Semba Rua decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
