PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Weller (ranked 4551 p4p, 4658 weight class) and Project Iii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

Iii stuffs the takedown.
Iii tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Iii throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Weller stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Weller gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Iii digs a right hand underneath Weller's ribcage. Weller let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Iii wants to get back to striking at distance but Weller won't allow it.

It looked like Weller was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Iii throws a front kick aimed at Weller's knee but Weller avoids it well.

Iii let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

Project Iii showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

A head kick misses from Iii.
Iii changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Weller tries to avoid it but Iii manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Weller to the ground. Weller escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Iii is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Weller with a body shot.

Iii shoots in looking for a takedown. Weller tries to sprawl out of it but Iii keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Weller manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Project Iii.
Well Iii has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
