Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Davey Gullpilil (ranked 2739 p4p, 2650 weight class) and Glover Gilchrist (ranked 333 p4p, 325 weight class). Gullpilil's entrance music is Civil War. A fine choice. Gilchrist comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Steve-O - Hard As A Rock kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Gilchrist throws out a loose jab but Gullpilil uses good head movement to avoid it.
Gilchrist misses with a body punch
and Gullpilil counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Gullpilil gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Gullpilil manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Gilchrist postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Gullpilil is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gilchrist, into his guard.

Gullpilil got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gilchrist has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gullpilil has managed to get both his arms back between Gilchrist's legs - danger averted.
