Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Eli Pope!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Amar Savic!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.

Nice uppercut lands for Pope. That snapped Savic's head back.
Pope scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Savic throws a hook but Pope blocks it.
Pope moves out of range as Savic strikes.

Savic is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

We've been told by Pope's head coaches at Savage Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Savic shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Pope napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Pope throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Savic closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Pope's guard.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Savic working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
Savic works over Pope with some ground and pound from guard.
Pope looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Savic puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Savic connects with a nice short shot to Pope's temple.
Pope wants to control but Savic is keeping busy.
Savic winds up and cracks Pope with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Savic looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Pope with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Savic is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Pope has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Savic is working away from the top position though.
Pope is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Savic scores with a couple of nice shots.

Pope knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Savic on the ground.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Savic lands a nice short elbow.
Savic passes into side control, despite Pope's attempt to control the position.
Savic is putting a hurting on Pope here, landing some big shots from side control.
Pope is trying to get back to half guard.
Savic looks up at the clock and then as Pope takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Savic smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Pope tries to control but Savic manages to take his back.

Savic lands punches and elbows.
Savic is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
Savic has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Savic has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Pope.
Pope tries to roll but Savic sticks to his back.

Savic has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Pope.
Savic throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Pope!

Pope seems to have got his legs back now.
Nice takedown defense from Pope. No joy for Savic on that attempt.
Pope was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Pope slips a straight right by Savic.
It looked like Pope wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Savic throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Savic misses with a hook.
Pope lands a nice shot that snaps Savic's head back.
Good exchange - Pope coming out on top.

Pope sends Savic crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Pope is motioning to the referee to let Savic up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pope closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Savic out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Eli Pope!
A very excited looking Eli Pope made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
In defeat, Amar Savic stepped up to the mic, saying 'Kingston did what he had to do. I'll be back. Don't worry about me.'.
